DHTML + Behaviors = MathML in Internet ExplorerDave Massy Abstract This talk will show how the DHTML and DHTML behaviors supported in Internet Explorer may be used to provide MathML rendering as part of the browser. In this talk you'll learn how the component model of Internet Explorer known as behaviors (see a draft standard with the W3C at http://www.w3.org/TR/becss) is supported and how it can allow the addition of functionality such as MathML support. Prototypes of MathML rendering have helped prove the basis of the behavior component model and will be shown in this talk. An understanding of HTML and Dynamic HTML in Internet Explorer may be beneficial prior to attending this talk. See the Internet Explorer Developer Center at http://msdn.microsoft.com/ie for more information on Internet Explorer technologies. |
