TeX and LaTeX in a MathML Context

Abstract
TeX/LaTeX has been a favorite format for technical publishing for many years, and we expect TeX/LaTeX to continue to be used for technical publishing for many more years. Many popular tools for TeX translation into HTML result in using GIF images with the Math. A growing collection of tools are appearing that translate TeX/LaTeX to MathML and vice - versa. This demonstration will show a number of these translators and discuss their strengths and weaknesses.
